Distribution  Statement  B:  Distribution authorized to U.S. government agencies only. Distribution  Statement  C:  Distribution authorized  to  U.S.  government  agencies  and their contractors. Distribution  Statement  D:  Distribution authorized to DOD and DOD contractors only. Distribution  Statement  E:  Distribution authorized to DOD components only. Distribution Statement F:  Further dissemination only as directed by [inserting controlling DOD office] [date] or higher DOD authority. Distribution  Statement  X:    Distribution authorized  to  U.S.  government  agencies  and private  individuals  or  enterprises  eligible  to obtain  export-controlled  technical  data  in accordance with regulations implementing Title 10, U.S. Code, section 140C. For  comprehensive  information  on  distribution statements,  refer  to  DOD  Directive  5230.24  and OPNAVINST 5510.1. Q2.    A TRAMAN that is approved for public release will have what distribution statement? ORDERING TRAINING MATERIALS The most common training courses that ESOs must order are the courses that are mandatory for advancement  in  rate.    These  TRAMANs  and NRTCs  are  listed  in  the  Catalog  of  Nonresident Training  Courses,   NAVEDTRA  12061.    The catalog  will  be  available  ONLY  in  an  electronic format.      The  Naval  Education  and  Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) in Pensacola, Florida, publishes a new edition  of  this  catalog  each  year,  with  an  update (supplement) or new edition published during the year.  The catalog contains a wealth of information that will help you maintain the courses needed to support your command.  YOUR JOB AS AN ESO W I L L   B E   M U C H   E A S I E R   I F   Y O U   A RE T H O R O U G H L Y    F A M I L I A R    W I T H    T HE CONTENTS OF THIS CATALOG! Listed below are highlights of what’s in the catalog: Front Matter: Telephone  numbers  of  key  players  in  the nonresident training arena General information about nonresident training How  to  order  courses  from  other  military services Listing of obsolete courses, with cut-off dates for completion A synopsis of new courses issued since the last catalog edition Index  of  available  courses  by  NAVEDTRA number and title/subject matter The  catalog  is  divided  into  10  parts.    Each  part contains  courses  that  are  developed  for  a  specific audience.    Each  part  contains  specific  ordering instructions for the courses listed in that part.  Part 10 is a  special  section  that  identifies  courses  that  are mandatory for advancement-in- rate. Parts 1 through 10: Part  1:    General  courses  applicable  to  most Sailors, including most mandatory courses.  In addition to specific ordering instructions, Part 1 also  contains  information  about  exceeding per-order  quantity  restrictions,  answer  keys, classified  courses,  answer  sheets,  and  grading and reporting scores. Part  2:    Cryptologic  Technician  Nonresident Training Products (NSGTCs/NSGTPs). Part  3:    Naval  School  of  Health  Sciences Nonresident Training Products. Part  4:    Naval  Dental  School  Nonresident Training Products. Part  5:    Shipboard  Training  Enhancement Program (STEP). Part  6:    Naval  War  College  Continuing Education. Part 7:  Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command Nonresident Training Products. Part  8:    Foreign  and  English  Nonresident Training Products. 4-2
