SUMMARY
An alert, proficient lookout team is a vital asset to
the safety of ship and crew. Many nautical disasters
have been avoided because of a vigilant lookout; many
have occurred because there was no proper lookout.
You can clearly see how important the lookout is as
part of the ship's operating team.
