2. Wing. The main supporting surface, or airfoils,
of an airplane are the wings. Figure 33 shows the most
common wing types and positions. The type and degree
of wind dihedral angle are shown in figure 34.
3. Tail. The tail is the after part of an aircraft and
generally consists of stabilizers, elevators, fin, and
