At night the OOD hails a boat with “Boat ahoy,” and the   coxswain   answers,   according   to   the   senior embarked,  as  indicated  in  table  5-1. Occasionally  it  is  necessary  to  recall  personnel  and boats by means of a flaghoist. The PAPA flag is the general recall when shown in port.
