Valuable Items
Certain valuable articles are prohibited in postal
union mail unless registered. Articles that must be
registered include the following:
Coins, banknotes, or currency notes (paper
money)
Jewelry (inexpensive jewelry, such as tie clasps,
costume jewelry, and so forth, containing little or
